The 2011 Windermere Golf Day was held on Tuesday 5th April at Kingston Heath Golf Club, Cheltenham. Once again the weather was perfect and golfers enjoyed a magnificent 18 holes at the prestigious Kingston Heath Golf Club! The event was again proudly sponsored by Windermere's long term supporter - Zagame Automotive and raised almost $80,000...what an amazing effort!. For more than 18 years, Windermere has been running its annual Charity Golf Day with wonderful support and great success. Over the years, players have represented large and small businesses from across Melbourne's South East and the CBD including manufacturing, professional services, retail, hospitality and automotive related industries.
Many of the players on the day are directors or owners of companies. They all appreciate and actively support other businesses that sponsor our golf day, and like all business-minded people, want attendees to enjoy a great day out on a world-class golf course, while deriving a business benefit.
The 18-hole event features a friendly Ambrose format that that makes it fun for all standards of golfers.
It is a great opportunity to reward key staff, entertain clients, and network with a high calibre of business professionals while supporting Windermere's vital work.
The venue in recent years has been Kingston Heath Golf Course – renowned as one of world’s best courses and No. 1 Golf Course in Australia, supported by five-star catering and hospitality.
The event also provides fabulous (but strictly limited) branding and sponsorship opportunities for businesses – including prominent on-course signage, gift packs for all participants, extensive exposure in all marketing and potential for media coverage.
