  • Assistance with completing applications and paperwork required for a grant or financial claim processes with other organisations and government.
  • Tailored support, including outreach face to face visits by our staff or with other services if this is helpful to your situation.

The case support service may be able to provide you with a small amount of brokerage support to respond to immediate financial needs.

Flood Recovery support workers will be able to direct and connect you to application processes for more comprehensive grants and other financial support processes.

Who's it for

Community members living in any Victorian region impacted by the 2022 Victorian flood events or by the 2019/2020 bushfires, June 2021 storms, October 2022 floods or Summer 2023/2024 bushfire and storm events. In some local Government areas, Windermere will provide initial information and support and link community members to a local organisation that will journey with them during their recovery journey.

We are currently working with councils and community groups to reach out to those who may have been affected by the floods but we also encourage you to contact us directly if you need support.

This service is for community members who have experienced one of the following as a result of the Victorian floods in 2022:

  • loss of your home
  • significant mental trauma
  • physical trauma
  • a loss of livelihood due to business loss.

If the above does not describe your situation, Windermere workers will consider each case on its merits.
