Fundraising Facts
Windermere relies on fundraising as an important source of income. While we receive government funding for most of our programs, it is never enough to provide the services we know make a difference. In fact, government funding is often provided conditional to the organisation’s commitment to fundraise to make up the short fall that often occurs.
To be brave and innovative, we need funds from the community and we will always listen to the needs of our donors, providing opportunities for them to connect with us and get involved. Along with encouraging donations and support at any time of the year, we conduct a number of fundraising programs including: Special Events, Bequests, Workplace giving, Sponsorship and Annual Appeals.
