Our Partnerships
Windermere’s success depends to a large extent on establishing relationships and working collaboratively with all levels of government, other community service providers and the community itself. To this end, we have successfully forged a number of strong and significant formal partnerships with key organisations. For example, we have developed a positive and effective working partnership with the Department of Human Services, Connections and the City of Greater Dandenong to deliver outcome-focused family-support services in our operating region.
We are also the leading partner in the Cranbourne Communities for Children program, appointed by the Federal Government to facilitate an improved services system delivered by 13 different welfare agencies and community organisations. We have also entered into an exciting partnership with Relationships Australia to establish the Berwick Family Relationship Centre, funded by the Attorney General’s Department and overseen by the Department of Family and Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. Other partnerships see us working closely with the Family Violence Network, for which we are providing specialist counselling for children, and the ‘Front Door’ Partnership, where we work with other providers to streamline entry points for homeless families. We also have a collaborative relationship with Victoria Police to provide counselling and support to their staff.
