Footy is back and we are excited to bring you our annual Bounce of the Ball event this June.

After the challenging 12 months we've all had, join us in the prestigious Members' Dining Room at the home of football for what is sure to be a memorable afternoon. 

For all of you die-hard AFL fans, we know you're excited to have footy back in Melbourne and so are we! Come along as we review the season so far with our special guest panel of three football stars.

Event proceeds will support Windermere's Mums & Bubs Program - providing emergency housing and support for young mothers and their babies facing imminent homelessness.

Panel Guest - Matthew "Richo" Richardson 

Since his retirement from AFL, Richo has made a career as a radio and TV footy commentator. His ‘never give up’ attitude makes him one of the all Australian greats of the game and just right as an ambassador for Windermere. A true gentleman who is very passionate about the development of young players, Matthew is known for his ability to engage, entertain and inspire those around him. 

Bachar Houli

Panel Guest - Bachar Houli

One of Richmond's most experienced and reliable defenders, Houli was an integral part of the Tiger's 2017 premiership success and was recognised as a top performer in their Grand Final win. The AFL's first devout muslim player, off-field Bachar has developed a number of successful multicultural programs for young aspiring athletes, each with a unique focus on football development, employment, leadership and identity.

Panel Guest - Sharni Layton 

Sharni began her professional sporting career playing netball. A Commonwealth Games gold medalist and arguably one of the best netballers of modern time, Layton made the transition to AFLW in 2019 playing for Collingwood. Tenacious and courageous, Layton is truly a unique athlete who is passionate about continuing to build women in sport, and believes that with a little hard work anything is possible.
