Communities for Children Cranbourne

Service Purpose 

Communities for Children include parenting support, family and peer support for children and and family members. This includes grandparent carers, facilitated playgroups and case management.

Our programs support the well being of children by working alongside families and the Cranbourne community to help build their strengths.

Programs include support for:

  • culturally-appropriate literacy and language  
  • parenting tailored to parents’ needs, including young parents, culturally diverse parents and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander parents
  • school attendance and engagement for primary school children
  • social and emotional development including children on the autism disorder spectrum
  • parents/carers of children with ADHD
  • families and the community to help keep children safe from family violence

Who it's for

Families with children 0-12 years who live in Cranbourne.

Criteria is dependent upon each program.
