Thanks to supporters of our Merry Mission Christmas Appeal 2021, families like Shaneen and her daughter Phoebe enjoyed food on the table and presents under their tree.
After her husband passed away in 2008 Shaneen was the sole carer for her daughter Phoebe, a talented para equestrian, who has many complex needs, including spastic quadriplegia, a severe form of cerebral palsy.
“Doug left us no money at all and then we lost our house because I couldn’t afford to keep it anymore” says Shaneen.
For over ten years Shaneen and her daughter Phoebe have gone without Christmas presents, but this year was different thanks to Merry Mission.
Shaneen says that receiving the Merry Mission gifts transformed Christmas.
"Thank you so much. Your services has always been excellent and so helpful. Every member of your team has helped me so much. This is an amazing gesture. I cannot thank you enough."
"Thank you dear sweet Windermere family. I was just feeling really down and this appears. Thank you and thank you for caring."
"Thank you so much. This will really make a difference for the kids."
