East Gippsland Bushfire Case Support

Have you experienced trauma or loss as a result of the 2020 bushfires across the greater East Gippsland region?

The Bushfire Case Support program can provide support for people who have been affected by the Summer 2020 East Gippsland bushfires.

Case Support Coordinators can:

  • Discuss your needs with you and what next steps might be appropriate
  • Provide you with a range of information and link you with local support services and clean-up information
  • Assist you in completing paperwork or applications for financial grants or claims.

Case Support Coordinators will be a single point of contact for those who need it.

Who's it for

The East Gippsland Bushfire Case Support Program is available to:

  • Individuals and families living within the greater East Gippsland Shire region were impacted by the 2020 Summer bushfires.
  • People who live in other parts of Victoria may have been impacted by the 2020 Summer bushfires.

Fee

This is service is funded by the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and the Victorian Government and is provided to you free of charge.

Grants

Windermere is acting on behalf of Bushfire Recovery Victoria to support those affected by the recent bushfires.

We have been asked to phone those affected and request details that will enable the timely distribution of grants from charity organisations as soon as they become available.
