When Lynn* was first introduced to not-for-profit Windermere Child and Family Services, she valued the wide breadth of services on offer that could meet her needs. Since then, she has accessed Windermere’s Victims Assistance Program (VAP), Healthy Women Healthy Relationships group support program and Family Violence services. Recently she signed up for Windermere’s Plan Management services as well.

At present, Lynn relies on a range of essential supports to manage her complex needs for which she accesses NDIS funds. Plan Management services ensure her funds are kept organised to maintain her supports.

Plan Management is added to an NDIS plan upon request, at no added cost to the NDIS participant and the services are delivered through Plan Managers who are qualified and certified bookkeepers. A Plan Manager takes care of all financial aspects and the complex paperwork involved. This includes tracking invoices, making payments on time, managing the plan budget to ensure it lasts the plan period and fulfilling financial reporting requirements in time for NDIS plan reassessments. 

“There’s no way that I’d be able to organise my NDIS funds on my own. I can no longer work and multi-task like I used to, and I need to be prepared with everything in hand, for those who support me,” says Lynn.

One of the primary benefits of Windermere’s Plan Management is that services are delivered through a dedicated Plan Manager who serves as the main point of contact.
