The Recovery Support Program can provide support for people who have been affected by these events.
Recovery support workers will work with you to help you navigate the various support services that may be available to you as a result of flood damage. Support provided by workers may include the following:
The case support service may be able to provide you with a small amount of brokerage support to respond to immediate financial needs.
Flood Recovery support workers will be able to direct and connect you to application processes for more comprehensive grants and other financial support processes.
Community members living in any Victorian region impacted by the 2022 Victorian flood events or by the 2019/2020 bushfires, June 2021 storms, October 2022 floods or Summer 2023/2024 bushfire and storm events. In some local Government areas, Windermere will provide initial information and support and link community members to a local organisation that will journey with them during their recovery journey.
We are currently working with councils and community groups to reach out to those who may have been affected by the floods but we also encourage you to contact us directly if you need support.

No charge. This program is funded by the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) & the Victorian Government.
A recovery support worker will conduct an initial screening to determine your current situation and eligibility.
